ROOFTOPSHELTER - TINY HOUSE

01

KASK & CONSERVATORY GHENT

2021

In the first year, as part of the Analysis and Concept Development course, I was assigned to design a tiny house on the rooftop of Campus Tweekerken at Ghent University, next to the Saint Peter’s Church. The tiny house had a maximum surface area, but I was free to determine its shape.

The design focuses on efficient space utilization and a thoughtful layout, combining compact living with comfort and functionality. The unique rooftop location presented the challenge of creating a harmonious relationship between architecture, the surrounding environment, and the urban landscape.
