In the first year, as part of the Preliminary Design and Presentation course, I was assigned to design a house within the ateliers of KASK & Conservatory on the Bijloke site in Ghent. The house needed to accommodate a couple, with the woman working from home in her own ceramics studio.

The design emphasizes the harmony between living and working, with a seamless connection between the living spaces and the studio. The ceramics studio is functionally integrated into the home, creating an inspiring environment that fosters both tranquility and creativity.
