In my second year, I chose the focus on Interior Finishing and Consultancy, where I was tasked with designing a coffee bar, a co-working space, and a studio for the owners. The location was an old 1950s house on the outside of Ghent’s city center, which originally housed Garage Anglo Cars on the ground floor.

The design combines functionality and atmosphere, allowing the different spaces to flow seamlessly into one another. The coffee bar provides a welcoming meeting place, while the co-working space creates an inspiring work environment. The studio serves as a quiet, private living space for the owners, integrated within the character of the original building.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
